Greg Aranda, Architect

Resume + Portfolio

Greg Aranda, Architect is an architecture firm with design/build capabilities located in Austin, TX founded in 2017 by Greg Aranda. His firm is dedicated to collaborating with clients to ensure their vision is realized while designing financially feasible and innovative solutions that meets their needs and incorporates environmentally sustainable design features and beautiful, long lasting, durable finishes and materials that adds value to every project. The firm strives to create 100-year virtually maintenance free projects that come in on time and on budget. Greg has over fifteen years of professional experience and has worked at the City of Austin as the Public Works Department in-house design architect for the entire city and for Travis County as a project manager. Greg is an expert in architectural design, detailing, construction documents, construction administration, and forensic architecture.

In 2001, Greg had the distinct honor of being the on-site architectural intern for the largest, most expensive construction project going on in the country at the time, the $500M+ Reliant Stadium project in Houston, TX. Full time, on-site construction administration is an exceptionally rare experience for an architect and gave Greg front row seats to construction on a massive scale. The experience shaped Greg's approach to design and instilled in him a dedication to provide practical design solutions and 99% airtight construction documentation which means projects are bid more accurately, bids come in lower, construction runs more smoothly, construction mistakes are avoided, and costly change orders are avoided.

Greg spent two years of his life gut remodelling his own home giving him first hand experience in home renovation and construction techniques. Greg is a master architect and can design and detail just about anything a client can dream up. Greg collaborates well with clients, consultants, and contractors striving to ensure good relationships are maintained.

Greg has been a licensed architect registered in the state of Texas since 2007. His firm provides full architectural services from conceptual design through construction administration specializing in small to mid-rise commercial, office, mixed-use, multi-family, as well as custom home, townhome, apartment, condo, and commercial and residential new construction and renovation projects. No project too is big, too small, or too complex. Design/Build services are available on small, local residential new construction and renovation projects.
